The Concept of Sin According to Kierkegaard
Kierkegaard devoted two book to the concept of sin ("Sickness Unto Death" and "The Concept of Dread"). Knowing sin is key in Kierkegaard's view for a full religious understanding. In describing sin Kierkegaard appeals to Hegelian dialectics which exposes the dread embedded within the existential manifestations of faith. Getting to know and acknowledging your own sins for Kierkegaard the way towards faith.
